“Iconic image creator Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri is a renowned photographer and master digital artist” and director. Her passion is for finding what makes each subject extraordinary, and representing their best qualities through various artistic mediums. “Having garnered numerous awards for their work with Beyonce, Mariah Carey, and Mary J. Half Indian half English, Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri was born in Calcutta, India, and raised in her family’s three hundred year old palace in West Bengal. A photographer since childhood, Indrani began a successful career as a fashion model at 14. She traveled the globe as a model working with great photographers and artists, while also studying philosophy and meditation.

Indrani founded Shakti Empowerment Education with her father, Ajay Pal-Chaudhuri in 1994 in their family home in West Bengal, India. The charitable foundation’s mission is to empower and uplift women to end the cycle of poverty. SEEschool.org provides free quality education for over 300 children, a library, homeopathic clinic, women’s literacy and vocational training, and microfinancing for village women’s collectives.

Indrani talked about the school on “Larry King Live”, the night that SEEschool.org was featured on Bravo’s “Double Exposure”, when Markus, Indrani and GK go there to photograph a fundraising campaign. Indrani studied at Princeton University and graduated with High Honors in Anthropology, while she mastered digital post-production and developed with Markus their unique photographic style.
